The Hunt Sisters Accordion Band in the Village Hall. Old Hathern In Pictures (page 54)
3 sisters, Jessica,Christine and Winnie, from Hathern performed in concerts and competitions often winning major prizes. A highlight was their audition with the BBC, but their drummer was under the required age limit. Later Marjorie joined her sisters and they formed a dance band which was in great demand throughout the war years, and up to the early 1950s
